The staging area is open year round with the campsite area open from Easter long weekend up to and including Thanksgiving weekend.

Campsites are provided in the staging area along with a short trail to the Bear Cub Beginner Riding Loop; this trail has a 100cc engine size restriction as it’s designed for beginners (parents ok). This trail is also a designated hiking trail; users are encouraged to respect others along this multi-use trail.
The area also provides access to the well-known Chipmunk motorized trail network adjacent to this site.
